Donna Hood Crecca, Associate Principal
Donna directs the firm’s Convenience Store and its Adult Beverage Practices. She is a veteran of the foodservice and drinks industries, having consulted for and covered the restaurant, foodservice, convenience store, beverage and beverage alcohol markets for nearly two decades.
Kathryn Fenner, Principal
Kathryn is responsible for managing and executing research and consulting programs for manufacturers, restaurant operators and trade associations throughout the foodservice industry. Innovation, Convenience and the Education Segments are her specific areas of emphasis.
Wade Hanson, Principal
With over 20 years of strategic consulting and research experience, Wade is responsible for managing and executing research and consulting programs for suppliers, and trade associations throughout the foodservice industry. His focus is within Retail Foodservice arena, and he directs the Retail Meal Solutions practice area.
David Henkes, Senior Principal
During Dave’s 20+ years at Technomic, he’s been involved in a wide variety client engagements covering food, beverages, equipment, and non-food products, both in the U.S. and globally. His expertise lies in opportunity assessments, go-to-market evaluations, market forecasting and trend prognostication.
Sara Monnette, Vice President, Innovation
Sara is responsible for new product development and innovation. She is heavily involved with supporting both the Technomic and Winsight businesses in assessing new opportunities to drive organic and inorganic growth through major product launches, partnerships and acquisitions.
Joe Pawlak, Managing Principal
Joe is head of the Advisory Practice, Technomic’s vertical that is engaged in food industry proprietary and multi-client consulting and research assignments. A 30-year food industry veteran, Joe’s experience encompasses virtually all food industry categories and channels.
Rich Shank, Director of Consumer Insights
Rich is an experienced researcher, specializing in brand positioning analysis, menu and product development research, customer experience research and consumer segmentation. His clients include chain operators, manufacturers, private equity firms and trade associations.
Erik Thoresen, Principal
Erik draws from his over 15 years of experience in market analysis, product development, and forecast modeling throughout the food and hospitality industries. Erik is a subject matter expert in the areas of technologies and futuristic developments impacting the food industry.
Kelly Weikel, Director of Consumer Insights
Kelly specializes in using her background in psychology to understand the “whys” behind consumer attitudes and behaviors. Her focus is on tracking emerging macro consumer trends to uncover the underlying needstates and motivations that shape foodservice decisions.
Melissa Wilson, Principal
Melissa specializes in the operator practice arena and directs the off-premise practice. Leveraging her over 25 years of consulting experience, Melissa mostly works with chains, multi-unit operators and private equity firms on relevant consulting and research engagements.
