Sara Monnette, Vice President, Innovation is responsible for new product development and supports both the Technomic and Winsight businesses in assessing new opportunities to drive organic and inorganic growth through major product launches, partnerships and acquisitions.
Prior to assuming this role, Sara was the Vice President, Research and Insights where she was responsible for designing, managing and executing both proprietary and syndicated consumer research studies for restaurant operators, manufacturers, and others allied to the industry. She oversaw Technomic’s consumer and market research division as well as Technomic’s Data and Analytics Center of Excellence.
Before joining Technomic Sara worked in marketing and public relations for a consumer products manufacturer where she developed and executed marketing initiatives and public relations campaigns for the United States, Canada, Belgium, England and Israel.
Sara frequently presents at industry conferences on what’s in store for consumers in the next decade; she provides forward-thinking, provocative insights on the challenges ahead and how to manage consumers’ increasingly complex and growing expectations.
Sara earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, with concentrations in Marketing, International Business and Management Strategy. She earned a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Consumer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
